I was approached by clients to produce a logo and an abstract print for their homeware brand startup

The client wanted the visual elements of the company to reflect their Nigerian heritage through sleek design and bold colours

Aaye a Yoruba word meaning space in English i went through a series of concepts interpreting the idea landing upon a simple linear design reflective of a building also giving the client a typographic version of the logo in which they can use interchangeably 

For the abstract print i i looked into fabric prints born from west Africa such as Adire, Ankara, Kete, etc, taking cues from them but not wanting it to be cliché but unique  i made create a floral pattern which have the clients preferred colour schemes through digital and analogue means .
