Oxford Africa conference

I was approached by Oxford university ACS to produce a poster & banner for their Oxford Africa  Conference

The  organizers had shown me previous renditions and highlighted key things they would like to see implemented in the design which included the map of Africa, the colour scheme of orange and blue, the 10 year anniversary logo and the accompanying text 

My design features the African map distorted with outward going concentric circles similar to sonar waves to represent what we are going to hear from the continent. Overlaid on top of the map are contour lines representing terrain i.e what sort of landscape will the continent have in the next decade 

The whole design has a good balance and is clear in its delivery
